How does Islam view the Bible?

”Qur’an, Ahadiths and Tafsirs support the trustworthiness of the Bible”.

There is no doubt that the general
conviction of most Muslims is that the Bible contains original revelation from God but is supposedly corrupted to one degree or another. As strong as this conviction is,
little evidence is given to support it.

However,
this conviction seems to have developed later in Islamic history, and it appears that the
Qur'an, the ahadith as well as various Muslim scholars actually support the trustworthiness of the Biblical text.

This page has the purpose to give links to a collection of articles on this issue, some introductory, some very comprehensive:

  1. Thank you for the link to the collection of articles on this issue. As a non muslim citizen of my country, I cannot access this page. Would it be possible for you to copy it here as part of a sub title for this article so many of us can view it?
