Is the Qur’an an Enhancement in respect to the Bible, as it does endorse and rebukes Jews for not being violent enough?

Jews don’t stone, but Muhammad rebukes them and order the stoning to be implemented anyway

It is funny how often Muslim apologists quote Biblical violent passages, in order to show how the Qur’an is an improvement in respect to older religions.

First of all, there are some violent passages in the Bible. Although in the NT there aren’t any (the ones that Muslim apologists love to quote are actually “parables”, and this show show low the knowledge of Muslims’ apologists “rhetoric” is), there are some that are present in the Torah, especially. But the passagges that are often quoted are punctual, descriptive and not prescriptive, bound to a specific land and people (against the Canaanites, that were abominable in their behaviour and were warned several time bifore by God), closed- ended and not open-ended.

Easy for us to show that the Islamic concept of jihad is given for eternity and against all people. Moreover, it is obligatory for all Muslims. Please refer
here to learn more about what Islam orthodoxy understands under jihad.

In
this hadith (by Bukhari), Jews should have stoned two women, as prescribed by their own scriptures. But, for humanitary reasons and because of the interpretative possibility given to Jews and Christians for their “Revelation”, they didn’t fullfill such a horrible crime. Muhammad asks then the Jews to read from their Book, and as it is stated that they have to stone in such situations. Thus, Muhammad orders the two women to be stoned!!!

What a difference, not only in humanity, but as well in logic!

Here the full hadith:

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: A Jew and Jewess were brought to the Prophet on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet asked the Jews, "What do you (usually) do with them?" They said, "We blacken their faces and disgrace them." He said, "Bring here the Torah and recite it, if you are truthful." They (fetched it and) came and asked a one-eyed man to recite. He went on reciting till he reached a portion on which he put his hand. The Prophet said, "Lift up your hand!" He lifted his hand up and behold, there appeared the verse of Ar-Rajm (stoning of the adulterers to death). Then he said, "O Muhammad! They should be stoned to death but we conceal this Divine Law among ourselves." Then the Prophet ordered that the two sinners be stoned to death and, and they were stoned to death, and I saw the man protecting the woman from the stones. (Hadith No. 809, Vol. 8)
